Colds

Pholcodine Linctus soothes dry or irritating coughs. It is a cough suppressant and for oral use only.

Use:

Adults and children over 12 years: one to two 5ml spoonfuls.

Children 5-12 yrs: one 5ml spoonful.

The dose may be repeated after 4 hours, but not more than 4 doses in any 24 hours. Not recommended for children under 5 years old.

Contains: 5mg Pholcodine BP

Side effects are not common with pholcodine and when they do occur are usually mild. This medicine may rarely cause nausea, drowsiness or constipation.

Not recommended for use with productive coughs or in bronchitis. Do not exceed stated dose. Keep all medicines away from children.
