Indications

Conception is not always as straightforward as one expects. It is important to be aware that there is a period of four or five days during your cycle when you are more likely to get pregnant. Usually this is 14 days after the beginning of menstruation in a 28 day cycle although this general rule does not apply to all women.

Saliva is a recognised measure of the hormonal activity that takes place during ovulation. The surge in hormonal activity at this time has a crystallising effect on the saliva which gives it a fern like appearance.
